Use with OpenAI

To use InfernoAI with OpenAI models such as GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and GPT-4 Turbo, you need to add your OpenAI API key.

Follow the simple steps below to obtain and add your OpenAI API key.

1. Log in or sign up to OpenAI

Go to https://platform.openai.com/ and log in or create an account.

2. Purchase OpenAI credits

Go to https://platform.openai.com/settings/organization/billing/overview

Add a minimum of $5 in credits to use the API. You can optionally enable auto recharge to automatically top up your balance when it reaches $0.

3. Create an API key

Go to https://platform.openai.com/api-keys

Click “Create new secret key”

Optionally set a recognisable name and click the green “Create secret key” button to confirm and create the key.

You may have to complete a short puzzle or captcha to prove you are not a bot.

Click “Copy” to copy the API key to your clipboard.

4. Add your API key

Now go back to InfernoAI and click the “API keys” button in the bottom left.

Paste in your OpenAI API key, click “Save” and “Close”.

You can now select any OpenAI model from the model selection menu in the top right, and start chatting.
